Around November, after attending Silicon Milkroundabout, I found myself in the very nice position of having a few interviews lined up. Out of the companies that were interested in me, one truly stood out. Dennis Publishing had a work ethic that is appealing, apps that are beautiful and well designed, and a lead iOS Developer whom is lovely and extremely talented. The interview was more an interesting conversation about development than anything else, and my mind was made up on where I most wanted to work immediately following it.

I suppose that I felt the need to document this occasion because if the app passes review, this will be my first ever commercial product. As well as being predictably exciting and terrifying, I am also feeling an odd mix of regret and doubt over what I have produced. Every small thing that I know isn't the way that I want it to be is annoying the hell out of me.

Sometimes pictures say it better than words. In this case, the pictures aren't necessarily that good at telling the story, but let it be known that I had a lovely time with my family. Nothing like going through the different counties of England and up to Scotland to remind you that Britain is bloody beautiful.
